Three of the Causeway Club’s tennis courts are on a point of land overlooking the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Norwood Cove to the west. Three more courts – two of which are brand new in 2020 – are  in the woods, offering a private, quiet alternative protected from shore-front breezes. All of our playing surfaces are “Har-Tru” synthetic clay courts, beautifully maintained, with spirited play evident at all times.

Ben Rowell, our Director of Tennis at the Causeway Club, welcomes members, guests and visitors alike as if they were family. Ben’s hospitality does not interfere with his running a top notch tennis program for players of all ages and all levels of play.

Private lessons are available from our two pros, Rod Sabag and Josh Warren.

Junior programs are very important to us on all corners of our campus. On the tennis courts, junior clinics are available Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.  Rod and Josh are very adept at helping children learn to love the life sport of tennis. They have also worked with top juniors, many of whom went on to play at the high school and collegiate levels.

Playing tennis at the Causeway Club means you’re playing tennis in one of the most beautiful locations in the world! As relatively new members, my husband and I were warmly welcomed by long-time members, and soon were involved in all of the wonderful tennis activities offered for all levels of play. The courts are meticulously groomed, the tennis and pool programs are attentively managed.
